HEALTH CARE
Increase Qualification for Medicare
Will open access for more individuals, so that care and coverage are both easier to attain.
Defend Reproductive Health Access
Codify the principles of Roe vs. Wade, because no woman should have decisions about their body made by politicians.
Mental Health
Mental health services need to be funded and accessible.
VETERANS SERVICES
As a 20-year Army member, I am dedicated to making sure the men and women who wore the uniform are treated with dignity.
Accessibility to the VA
The Veterans Administration is a federal program, but when they fail, it's our local veterans who suffer. State officials need to be working hand in glove with the VA to ensure appropriate delivery to our servicemembers.
Increase Housing
From 2020 to 2022, there was a 26% increase in homelessness for veterans. No veteran - or any resident for that matter - should be left to live on the streets.
SUBSTANCE ABUSE
Drug addiction knows no boundaries, impacting families and individuals of all backgrounds. We need everyone working together to reduce addiction and increase recovery.
Support Rehabilitative Programs
If we want to reduce addiction, we have to provide our citizens with the tools to enter recovery.
Refocus Resources
Rather than spend energy, time, and resources on cannabis diversion programs, we should be investing our funds into programs focused on the substances that tear our families apart - including prescription pill abuse, heroin, and fentanyl.
PUBLIC EDUCATION
Every New Hampshire child deserves access to a quality education.
Eliminate School Vouchers
The School Voucher Program is designed to create winners and losers. But when it comes to our students, every one of them should be positioned for success. I oppose vouchers and instead want to see all education dollars invested into our public schools so that every child benefits.
Make Schools Gun-Free Zones
Guns don't belong in our public schools, period. New Hampshire law allows licensed gun owners to open carry inside schools and amongst our students. 20 years in the Army showed me that no human is perfect, and putting weapons in our schools expose our students to far too many opportunities for accidental or intentional injury.
